Abstract
We are connected like never before through a web of networks. They are the way we communicate, connect with families and friends, do business, send photos, and play video games with people we have never met. They let us share breaking news and listen to incredible stories from places all around the world. We have become so used to networks in our daily lives that most of us probably don’t even notice them very often. To build this vast collection of intertwined systems, we need fast technologies and a set of rules to maintain them.
