Using WSL 2 (Windows Subsystem for Linux) should make it possible to use the commands shown here. We have not tested this option in the preparation of this book (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/install-win10).

If you didn’t already have TYPO3 Core installed, this command would also download it as a dependency (the Introduction Package won’t run without TYPO3 itself). We’ve split the process into two parts in this guide to make the steps clear to everyone trying this for the first time. You can install TYPO3 Core and get to work without this package, too.
