Abstract
In the previous chapters, we learned how to create bots and integrate them with various cognitive services provided by Microsoft to make them smarter. This Bot can run on multiple channels; it’s not Teams specific yet. In this chapter, we are going to make our bot Teams aware and let it interact even more with our users in Teams. I do have to warn you; this path is very user-friendly in Teams, but we are going to decrease the usability of the Bot in other channels significantly. If you start implementing this in your bots, it’s always good to plan to think ahead. What channels are we going to use, and can we keep our code as generic as possible? The worst thing that you can do is have a different code base, meaning different Bots for different channels, because that is going to be a nightmare to maintain.
