Abstract

The previous chapters revealed the size, use cases, and potential of IoT in various industries, having billions of devices connected. In the discussion of challenges in every chapter, I touched on the provisions of securing the system. This chapter is dedicated to types of risk that can do minor to major damage, agnostic to the type of industry. For an IoT environment, security is an ongoing process in which a proactive attitude and forward-looking actions are nonnegotiable, and there is no true definition of done.
