Abstract
Working with digital audio workstations (DAW) as a musician has created a lot of opportunities for creating music. When I was learning how to play the piano, all I knew was the 88 different keys that I could play across the keyboard. As I progressed into playing with different bands, it became impractical for me to always ask for a venue that had an analog upright piano. Besides, there was no way I would carry a 300-lb piano with me during performances. That’s when I decided to invest in a lightweight digital synthesizer.
