Abstract
In this final chapter, we will take what we have learned throughout the book and apply it to three separate scenarios. Each scenario will cover a practical business use case for PolyBase, starting with “cold storage” of data, then moving into replacing a classic Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) process with Extract-Load-Transform (ELT), and finally wrapping up with a pure data virtualization scenario.
