It used to be said that Windows versions were like classic Star Trek movies, with each other one being terrible. The common offenders often being cited as Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, and Star Trek V: The Final Frontier. Similarly, Windows Vista and Windows 8 are almost universally derided.
