Abstract

Business Intelligence is one of the categories that has seen the most features removed in SharePoint Server 2019. Whereas SharePoint Server was the recommended platform to publish Business Intelligence reports, most of technologies depended on Silverlight to render results, and reports were not user friendly to build. With Silverlight support officially ending in October 2021, most Business Intelligence features that we are used to in SharePoint are no longer available. Table 12-1 gives a summary of features that are deprecated and removed from SharePoint Server 2019.
