Abstract

Back in January of 2012, Jakob Nielsen published an article, “Usability 101: Introduction to Usability” [ https://www.nngroup.com/articles/usability-101-introduction-to-usability/ ]. In it, Nielsen states, “usability is a necessary condition for survival.” If a user is unable to find what they’re looking for, if they find the product difficult to use, or simply get lost in trying to achieve their goal, they will leave.
