Abstract

Topics are quite interesting entities in Salesforce. While they have been around for years, they aren’t extensively used in “internal” Salesforce (e.g., classic or Lightning Experience) outside of Chatter. In Chatter, users can associate topics with feed items to tag posts, polls, questions, and more; this helps users to quickly find related discussions. Figure 9-1 shows a view of a Chatter post in the classic and Lightning Experience interfaces.
