Abstract

There is significant power and value to be found within the world of Salesforce communities that isn’t necessarily obvious to those who see Community Cloud as an isolated, stand-alone product or are relatively new to Salesforce overall. It lies in the platform, whose inception came almost 15 years before communities were born and has been rapidly expanding with new features and capabilities ever since. Much of what has been discussed in this book so far has focused on community-specific functionality. However, in my opinion, one of the most exciting areas for communities lies in the intersection between declarative community-building capabilities and innovative business process automation (BPA).
