Abstract
When you start an Octave session, you can work in an interactive session in the sense that the Octave prompt waits for you to input a command, which will be executed as soon as you press the Enter key at the end of command. The Octave command prompt presents a full-featured interactive command-line commonly called REPL (read-eval-print loop).
