Abstract
In the past few years, the IT services industry has seen a remarkable shift from businesses managing the whole of the IT stack within their own datacenters to almost all of their services being shifted to cloud models, where infrastructure, platforms and software are all delivered as-a-service, with the underlying support and maintenance fees shifting into operational expenditure rather than annualized capital expense budgets.
