Abstract
At this point, you have seen a few different types of unidirectional replication configured; after all, Oracle GoldenGate is a heterogeneous replication tool. Although you can now move data between different environments, the speed at which transactions are replicated might need to be improved. There are a few things that need to be considered when looking to improve the performance of replication between sites. In keeping with the theme of replication, we look at how to improve performance using the Oracle database as both the source and target replication environment.
