Managing Fusion Applications Security

Abstract

Fusion Applications Security is a vast subject and this chapter introduces some of the mandatory Security setup tasks in the initial implementation of Fusion Applications. As you learned earlier, Fusion Applications is based on Role Based Access Control (RBAC) and Segregation of Duties (SOD). This chapter helps you understand how Oracle achieves role-based access control at the same time applying segregation of duties policies in order to avoid unauthorized access to Fusion Applications transaction data or functional screens.
