Abstract
Windows Update received a major shake-up with Windows 10, and not everybody welcomed the changes. The short version of the story is that, whoever you are, wherever you work, it’s not possible to opt out of stability and security patches for Windows 10… ever! If you are using Windows 10 Home or Pro, it’s not possible for you to opt out of feature updates and upgrades either, and if you’re using Windows 10 Home, you can’t even delay a security or stability update that might be known to cause problems.
