Hardware Considerations: PCs, Mobiles, and Peripherals

Abstract

Perhaps the biggest user experience change in voice calling with Skype is the transition from a legacy desktop or wall phone to the wide range of platforms and devices on which you can make and receive Skype calls: PCs, smartphones, TVs, Blu-ray players, and tablets.  Most come with applications that can completely replace the desktop phone yet carry out the functionality of a business desktop phone.
