This paper describes an Engineering Model cryocooler of two-stage Stirling type and metal diaphragm construction which has been delivered to NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. The unit provides 269 milliwatts of net cooling at 30 K. Key design features are described, and performance results are presented for capacity and power. Vibration and life testing at Goddard have been initiated.
