Abstract

The differentiation and maturation of erythroid cells are associated with biochemical (Koury et al., 1987; Harrison, 1984), antigenic (Loken et al., 1987), and morphological events (Castoldi and Beutler, 1988; Bessis et al., 1986; Breton-Gorius and Reyes, 1976; Bessis, 1973; Tanaka and Goodman, 1972).
