Part of the NATO ASI Series book series (NSSA, volume 269)

The classification of orders and subclasses in Ascoloculares by Barr (1987) is compared with the classification adopted in Systema Ascornyceturn, and problems in classification of orders and higher taxa in fissitunicate and related fungi are discussed.
