Study I: Intervention Process and Outcome Results
The Action Condition (AC), Action Condition Family Focus (AC—FF), and Action Condition Court Setting (AC—CS) examined the impact of behavioral contracting and child advocacy within a broad spectrum of domains (AC), with the family as the central focus (AC—FF) and under the auspices of the juvenile court (AC—CS). The Relationship Condition (RC) explored the effectiveness of a therapeutic relationship focusing solely on the youth and the volunteer, and the Attention-Placebo Condition (APC) tested the impact of a nonspecific volunteer intervention with a youth. These conditions were all compared to a treatment-asusual control condition (CC).
