Abstract

In this paper, the experimental results of five types of regenerative Cryocoolers: Stirling (St), Vuilleumier (V-M), Gifford-McMahon (G-M), Solvay (SV), and Pulse Tube (PTR) obtained by our research group within the last 10 years have been introduced. The thermodynamics, working conditions, and the choice of regenerative matrix have been comprehensively analyzed and discussed.
