The current work builds on a neopiagetian model of cognitive development across the lifespan consisting of 25 steps, as described in the Prologue. A dominant theme linking all others in the current work is that human development is postmodern in its core, e.g., in its adult collective intelligence stage, its coappropriation transition mechanism, its coconstructive, narrative therapeutic approach, its lévinasian philosophy of responsibility for the other, its constructs of Relational Meaning Worlds, “the IWEMEUS,” and comemes, and its heterological epistemology.
