The Concise Oxford Dictionary defines ethics as the “science of morals.” Glaser considered that a discussion of ethical problems should embrace both an assumption of right and wrong and a definition of how things are and not just how things should be . Moreover, ethical problems concern the individual rather than the community. The community may benefit from the results of a trial but no individual should be asked to take an unreasonable risk to benefit the community. Problems arise when we are forced to consider what is reasonable.
