Abstract

In this chapter various methods to increase the service-life time and the reliability of spectral lamps are considered. Manufacturing technologies of the spectral lamps and their connection with longevity and reliability are discussed in detail for the first time. Original methods for tests in real and accelerated time scales are described for estimating the longevity and reliability.
