Abstract
Until now, we have studied oscillators consisting of only one timing reference. We have seen that the character of the oscillator is mainly determined by the characteristics of the timing reference. When an oscillation is to be created, it is not always possible to meet the predefined requirements with an oscillator consisting of one timing reference. When the design requirements cannot be met with an oscillator consisting of one timing reference, using more timing references can be a good solution. The resulting oscillator systems are the subject of this chapter.
