Abstract
From time immemorial mankind’s basic needs and concerns have been for food and shelter. Without food and adequate nutrition all else pales in the struggle for life, for without good health, which stems principally from a balanced diet, one would not continue to need the other elements. Thus, food per se is of prime importance in the well-being and progress of the human race.
