Abstract

The subject of sampling for chemical analysis is a very wide-ranging one and worthy of an entire book on its own. To treat the subject in depth would be beyond the scope of this book. However, this chapter is concerned with those aspects of sampling that impact on the quality and quality assurance of the analytical results.
