Abstract

Although the paradigms for diagnosing FAS have become more detailed, there are many alcohol-abuse-related birth effects (ARBEs) that occur either independently of or in addition to the anomalies mentioned in these lists that warrant attention in their own right. (These anomalies will be examined in Chapters 3–13.)
