Most of the contributions of this symposium are dedicated to a detailed study of the control and regulation of enzymatic mechanisms. Clearly the method of choice to tackle such questions is kinetics. Once all enzymatic parameters such as rate constants or more globally affinities, allosteric constants and the like are known for an enzyme catalyzed reaction, then the dynamics of the system can be completely described.
