When more than two devices are to be connected together so that any one can communicate with any other, the connections are termed a bus. Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE);
Engineering Industries Association (EIA);
International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC);
British Standards Institution (BSI).
