The Structure of a Nested Framework
It is impossible for any framework to be completely objective. Consequently, any paradigmatic framework needs to be addressed, understood, evaluated, and used with reference to the context of its origin, current situation, and the perspective of its supporters. A paradigmatic framework which attends explicitly to the nested nature of human creations may offset some of the major limitations imposed by existing paradigms because it includes attention to that nestedness. The term nested framework can refer to the way the overall system or paradigm relates to its broader context, to the paradigm and its embedded components, or to the way the components in the system relate to each other and to the system itself. These differentiations are arbitrary because a framework and it components are all interlinked, but at times it is useful to focus on these aspects in relation to each other. In this book, whether the term nested framework is used to refer to the overall configuration or one of these embedded frameworks is indicated in each specific instance.
