Abstract

There has been a great deal of activity in recent years involving discretization and integrable systems and we refer to [109] for a survey (cf. also Chapter 6). We will sketch here the developments related to differential calculi and noncommutative geometry based on [191, 198, 199, 200, 201, 202, 203] (cf. also [73, 227, 340, 576, 629] and a large subset of the 1000+ references in [109]).
