Statistical methods applicable for the comparison of three or more treatments or groups must cater for complexities not encountered in the methods of previous chapters. The complexities are of two forms
experimental and treatment designs (introduced in Chapter 13); and
a broader range of questions which may be posed in respect of treatment comparisons.
