Abstract
Under the umbrella of this Theme Group, several activities occurred. The Theme offered an Overview of Problem Solving, a series of more specialised Invited Talks, six Problem Solving Workshops, some Oral Communications and twenty Working Groups which met for the duration of the Congress. In addition, a variety of problems was published in the daily Congress newsletter and prizes for a light-hearted competition for ‘teaching solutions’ were provided by Objective Learning Materials and by Doubleday.
