Abstract

Primarily because of differences in size and temperament, the normal blood pressure varies from one breed of dog to another. The mean normal blood pressure for all dogs is 140 systolic, 90 diastolic; but accepted values range from 100 to 180 mm Hg for systolic pressure, 60 to 120 for diastolic.
