Abstract

For the case of large Prandtl number Pr ≫ 1 with \({\overline U _\infty } = \frac{{{U_\infty }}}{U} = O(1)\), we adopt

$${\varepsilon _2} = \frac{1}{{\Pr }} \ll 1$$

as the basic small parameter and attempt to find a uniformly valid asymptotic expansion solution for the problem in the limit ε 2 → 0. The governing equations and boundary conditions are the same as given in the previous chapter.
