Steady Viscous Flow Past a Paraboloid of Revolution

Abstract

In the next few chapters, we shall turn to study dendritic growth with convection in the framework of the IFW theory. For this purpose, we need, first of all, to derive the basic steady state with different types of convective flows for the case of zero surface tension. This solution will play the same role as the Ivantsov solution plays for the system with no convection.
