Abstract

In the previous chapters in Part II, a series of procedures to tackle the perfect and imperfect behaviors of a D n -equivariant system has been introduced and applied to simple examples. It is to be emphasized that each procedure can throw light on only a fraction of the whole bifurcation behaviors, especially in experiments. In this last chapter of Part II, it may be in order to investigate the perfect and imperfect behaviors of realistic systems, by means of a synthetic application of those procedures, to demonstrate their capability.
