Processing of Aerial Photos
Aerial photography provides a common base for large scale mapping. It has been widely used for creating and updating maps as well as for maintaining up to date GIS databases. Aerial photos can be used to extract georeferenced data representing topography, landforms, vegetation cover as well as man-made features. Digital processing of aerial photos in GRASS allows the user to incorporate aerial photos into a GIS database.
