Patients, Patience, and P Values
This chapter is written for physicians from the perspective of a physician, in recognition that, of all professionals, we as physicians have the greatest philosophical difficulty coming to grips with the concepts of p values and sampling error. This is nothing to be ashamed of, however, because we were designed for this confusion.
