Abstract
Information going from the user to the computer is called input, and information from the computer to the user is output. We have used the default form of input/output (often abbreviated as I/O) in Scheme. Input is a product of the interpreter reading in our requests at the > prompt. Output is the results of evaluating our input Scheme expressions that the interpreter prints out.
