  • Chapter
Recollections of Trauma

Part of the book series: NATO ASI Series ((NSSA,volume 291))

Abstract

At the NATO- ASI a work group was organised to identify and discuss key components of guidelines for clinicians working with adults who allege a trauma history or who have recovered memories of past trauma. We have sifted through the minutes of these discussions, as well as the existing guidelines developed by professional organisations (see Table 1), and present here a comparative analysis of the issues and conclusions contained within them.
