Change Management Practices
Virtually all organizations are looking for ways to help them face the escalating rate of change, and health care organizations are no exception. As these health care organizations reassess and develop their future directions, they also need specific strategies to help them achieve their desired future states. Change management practices help organizations achieve this. Traditional planning processes only help to delineate specific task steps. The role of change management is to facilitate the process of moving to the future state. Creating and managing change starts with creating a vision for change and then empowering individuals to act as change agents to attain that vision.
