Abstract

Suppose we have a set of a great many systems of k mutually exclusive kinds, i.e., systems of kinds H 1, H 2, ..., H k . Suppose further that we randomly pick a system and perform an experiment on it getting the result A. What is the probability that we have a system of kind ?
