The industrial sector in the United States is sometimes painted as being inconsiderate, insensitive, inept or incorrect with regard to environmental issues. By and large, none of these adjectives is correct. This is particularly true with regard to the subject of global climate change and the implications for decision making. This paper will review some of the major points that reflect an industrial viewpoint of the climate change issues.
