Experimental Measurement of Eddy Current Losses in Transformer Windings and Inductor Coils

Abstract

The equations and theory of Chapters 6 and 7 are evaluated against experimental measurements described in the literature, and measurements conducted by the author himself. The outcome is promising but certain shortcomings, the most prominent being the calculation of the magnetic field, come to light.
