Scattered Light Particle Size Counting Analysis: Influence of Shape and Structure

In various methods of the scattered light particle size counting analysis the scattered light signals of single particles, which are crossing the measuring volume are analyzed and registered as events (counted). The measured signal, resp. the signal height, is the primarily determined property of the particles. Generally the signal height is associated with another dimension of dispersity, e.g. the diameter of the particle.
