Abstract
Ocular inflammation can be idiopathic or secondary to either systemic or local ocular infection (bacterial, parasitic, viral, or fungal). The inflammatory process can involve the vitreous whether the inflammation is posterior or, less frequently, anterior (peripheral uveitis).
