Abstract

The subject of “Non-Inductive Current Drive” was discussed in nine papers presented at the Course (and published in these Proceedings):

  • In four of them, experimental studies performed on PLT, PETULA B, ASDEX, JIPPT-II were presented, respectively, by F.C. Jobes (Princeton), D. van Houtte (EUR-CEA Grenoble), F. Leuterer (IPP Garching) and K. Toi (Nagoya University).

  • The other five talks were devoted to specific projects and proposals envisaged for TS, JET, FER, NET, DEMO and presented by G.Tonon (EUR-CEA Grenoble), J. Jacquinot (JET), N. Fujisawa (JAERI), F. Engelmann (NET) and D. Ehst (Argonne Nat. Lab.)
